Bad Sasquatch

I had almost forgotten about these fella's from 2011!  Unused dark and moody designs for a bad sasquatch.

I should add that this isn't how I see Sasquatch (real or not) but was following the brief of this character being an antagonist... Would like to do a version someday of a more peaceful creature.

The Guard

A new personal piece which was based on a design I've been working on for my own project.  It will be featured in the next volume of White Cloud Worlds which I'm very proud to be apart of.  The book will feature a lot of amazing talent from all over Aotearoa.  There'll be a kickstarter being launched soon as well but more news on that to come.

Zhong Kui

Hey Everyone...
a small update with some concept work I got to create for the film Zhong Kui
We had a lot of fun working on this and a fascinating subject matter.

This was a design by Jamie Beswarick and all I did was the tongue and internal mouth  :)

Really stoked to be able to share some of the work I contributed with the WetaWorkshop Design team to GreyGoo.  We worked with SixFoot and Petroglyph to help fill their world with aliens, humans, industry... you name it!

I was mainly involved with the alien design and their physiology.  Really happy how loyal they were to the design in the final and while I haven't played the game yet, I hear good things, and the cinematics look incredible!

Better late than never to post some of these  :)
All of these pieces and more can be found in the Art of book put together by Weta Publishing, to get a copy please follow the link.

Was the final installment for us to work on this property and what a journey it has been!
Also I will be updating with a new website very soon with a more culled selection of my work, but more on that soon.  Meanwhile here's some stuff that was made for the Battle of Five Armies

The Great White Hunter.

Had a bit of fun creating this trying out the new features in ZBrush as well as the bridge to Keyshot.  Such an amazing tool and I haven't been this excited with a program since Zbrush first came out I think.

It's a bit of a comedic commentary on a few things, but I'll let you decide what that may be for you.
